Mack Brown is known for post-game locker room dances, and the North Carolina’s win over Appalachian State gave him another opportunity to bust a move. It came after the Tar Heels’ 63-61 win on Saturday.
Brown’s dancing is always a favorite among his players, who egged him on to bring on more.
North Carolina turned in a memorable performance in a high-scoring game to open the season.
QB Drake Maye continued his hot start to the season, as he passed for 352 yards and collected 5 touchdowns as North Carolina outlasted Appalachian State 63-61 on Saturday even though they gave up 40 points in the fourth quarter.
For his part, Chase Brice threw for 376 yards and six touchdowns for Appalachian State.
In an unusual road Group of 5 non-conference game, North Carolina fell behind 21-7 before they reeled off 34 straight points and shocked a crowd of 40,168 at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
One of the more likable coaches in college football, Brown certainly continues to show some energy despite his years of experience.
