Malik Blocton, 4-star 2024 DL out of Alabama, announces SEC commitment

Malik Blocton is staying in his home state to play SEC football. The blue-chip defensive lineman from Pike Road, Alabama, has committed to play for Auburn.
Blocton revealed his pledge to Hugh Freeze’s program during a live ceremony Saturday. He picked up 37 scholarship offers during his recruitment and narrowed things down to Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Texas and Troy as the hats on the table.

Blocton’s listed measurements are 6-4, 275 pounds. On the 247Sports composite ratings, Blocton is rated 4-stars, the No. 24 recruit in the state of Alabama, No. 43 defensive lineman and No. 423 prospect overall in the Class of 2024. In April, Blocton also expressed interest in Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oregon and South Carolina.
