Malik McDowell apparently can’t be stunned by a single police taser.
The former Michigan State standout and former Seattle Seahawk was charged with two counts of felony assault and resisting arrest in Michigan after getting into a confrontation with a police officer following a traffic stop back in February. Video of the scene was recently captured by TMZ.com, which has published the video.
McDowell, seated in his car, was being questioned at a gas station when he apparently tried to escape by running into the gas station. Inside the station, the police officer struggled to get McDowell to obey his commands, which led to the officer tasing the 6-foot-6, 300-pound defensive lineman.
However, being tased didn’t exactly slow McDowell down. Not until backup arrived did McDowell comply.
