Bowman shared the news with On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Friday afternoon:

Bowman is a massive target for each of these schools. He’s the No. 16 overall player and the No. 1 tight end in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. At this time, he’s one of only three tight ends to earn 5-star status in the 2026 cycle.
Bowman attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. That high school has produced numerous NFL talents over the years, including Matt Leinart, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Bryce Young. Matt Barkley, Domani Jackson, Colt Brennan, Katie Lou Samuelson, Stanley Johnson and Bru McCoy are also some examples of notable athletics alumni.
The class of 2026 is still developing, but each of Georgia, Texas and Ole Miss are expected to recruit at a very high level in this cycle. Of that group, Georgia currently has the highest-ranked class at No. 12 overall, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
