Marques Easley, 4-star 2024 OL from Illinois, reveals SEC commitment

Marques Easley named a “top 3” of Alabama, Oklahoma and Tennessee on June 19. Saturday, the sought-after lineman announced a commitment to a different school: Georgia.
Easley announced his verbal pledge during a Saturday ceremony and confirmed his plans on social media.

Out of Kankakee (Illinois), Easley lists his measurements as 6-7, 325 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Easley is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 player in the state of Illinois, No. 21 offensive tackle and No. 261 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Georgia recruiting has been on a tear as of late. Easley is the 4th 4-star prospect to commit to the Bulldogs over the past 4 days.
