Matt Corral jokes about Lane Kiffin’s knee brace popping off during sideline sprint

Last weekend, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin launched his play sheet 20 feet in the air and sprinted to the end zone to celebrate a long, wide-open touchdown pass from QB Matt Corral.
That play was key in Ole Miss’s win over the South Carolina Gamecocks, and Kiffin was in a mood to celebrate, especially since he saw the touchdown coming from a mile away.
On Wednesday, Corral joined “Marty & McGee” on the SEC Network and zinged his coach a couple of times:
"[@Lane_Kiffin's] knee brace broke off like Forrest Gump." —@corral_matt ??@MartySmithESPN & @ESPNMcGee | 7 PM ET pic.twitter.com/f8tsPr4x8i

The line about his knee brace breaking off like Forrest Gump is a classic. Perhaps Corral has a future in comedy if quarterbacking doesn’t work out!
For now, though, quarterbacking is working out, as he’s thrown for 925 yards, 10 touchdowns and 0 interceptions the past 2 games.
