Media reacts to big first half from Ole Miss offense against Alabama

Ole Miss entered Week 3 of the season as the conference leader in total offense and top-three in passing yards and scoring. While it was impressive for the Rebels to put up big numbers against Florida and Kentucky, not many expected them to be able to do it again against Alabama.

It’s safe to say Lane Kiffin and Jeff Lebby are getting the better of the Crimson Tide defense in the first half. We’ve got a shootout in Oxford. At the half, it’s all tied up 21-21. Ole Miss is already over 300 yards of offense (308), averaging nearly 8 yards per play (7.7) against the Crimson Tide defense.
