Media reacts to big first half from Ole Miss offense against Alabama

Ole Miss entered Week 3 of the season as the conference leader in total offense and top-three in passing yards and scoring. While it was impressive for the Rebels to put up big numbers against Florida and Kentucky, not many expected them to be able to do it again against Alabama.
It’s safe to say Lane Kiffin and Jeff Lebby are getting the better of the Crimson Tide defense in the first half. We’ve got a shootout in Oxford. At the half, it’s all tied up 21-21. Ole Miss is already over 300 yards of offense (308), averaging nearly 8 yards per play (7.7) against the Crimson Tide defense.
Here’s a sample of media members reacting to the first half on Twitter:
#Alabama has only allowed 500 yards of offense 7 times in the Nick Saban era. Seems of note since Ole Miss has 304 and has the ball with a minute left in the first half.

Serioisly: Nick Saban has no idea what is coming. Ole Miss is doing whatever the hell they want on offense

Combination of good tempo, execution, & really good Qb play the difference right now for ole miss on offense! They have Bama on their heels defensively

Maybe Kentucky's defense isn't as bad as Ole Miss' offense is good. https://t.co/1wHeMANOq8

The absolute only thing that has slowed Ole Miss down thus far is a bad snap from its center.

That Ole Miss offense the 'Cats faced last week is no joke.

We can quit boosting Ole Miss offense up to make us feel better and just now admit that it’s just a really good offense in no relation to the UF defense.
They may not score much more vs Bama, but the Rebs have a good offense.— David Waters – Gators Breakdown (@GatorDave_SEC) October 11, 2020
So Alabama had extra players on the field and couldn’t stop Ole Miss from scoring. That’s a lethal offense

The Ole Miss offensive line has played a fine game from a run blocking standpoint
