Media roasts Jimbo Fisher following blowout loss to Alabama

It hasn’t been a great start to the 2020 season for Texas A&M. After narrowly pulling out a home win over Vanderbilt in their season opener, the No. 13-ranked Aggies lost to No. 2 Alabama, 52-24, on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Things don’t get much easier for Texas A&M in the weeks to come. The Aggies host No. 3 Florida next week, then travel to take on No. 16 Mississippi State on Oct. 17. They later have matchups against No. 21 Tennessee (Nov. 14), No. 20 LSU (Nov. 28) and No. 7 Auburn (Dec. 5).

Texas A&M fans may already be getting frustrated with head coach Jimbo Fisher, who is 18-10 since taking over prior to the 2018 season. It’s difficult to compete in the SEC, but the Aggies were likely hoping to be playing closer games against top teams at this point in Fisher’s tenure.
