Mehkai White, 2024 ATH from Virginia and SEC target, announces commitment date

Mekhai White has received over 50 offers from schools across the country. On Christmas Day, he cut his lengthy list to 15 finalists, including 5 SEC programs: Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee.

We now know when the 2024 ATH from King George (Va.) — about 70 miles from Washington, D.C. — will commit. As you can see below, he announced on Twitter on Thursday evening that he has set his commitment date for May 12, his birthday:

A 3-star recruit, White, a 6-foot-2, 182-pounder, is considered the No. 7 player in the state of Virginia and has excelled on both sides of the ball, specifically wide receiver and defensive back. He’s drawn major attention from a number of college football programs as a result and will have quite a list to choose from when he makes his decision in May, just months before his senior season begins.
