Miami is having a season that reminds many who are old enough of yesteryear, when the Hurricanes dominated college football.

The Hurricanes improved to 9-0 with Saturday’s home bludgeoning of Duke, as their offense continued to put up ridiculous points on a weekly basis with a 53-point outburst against the Blue Devils. The latest victory helped Miami slide up 1 spot to No. 4 in Sunday’s AP Poll, as the Canes close in on a spot in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.

But Miami still has work to do, and that work continues in Week 11 with a trip to Atlanta to face ACC rival Georgia Tech. On Sunday, it was announced that this Saturday’s showdown will kick off at noon ET on ESPN from Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets come into the matchup with Miami at 5-4. They are coming off a bye in Week 10 that followed a disappointing loss at Virginia Tech.

ESPN’s FPI matchup predictor, not surprisingly, is giving Miami an overwhelming chance to prevail and get to 10-0. The Hurricanes have a 76.9% chance to get out of Atlanta with another win, according to ESPN, with UM quarterback Cam Ward putting up insane numbers all season.

Ward and the Hurricanes will try to do it yet again on Saturday and get a little closer to an undefeated regular season.
