Mike Norvell is in hot water after a horrific start to the season for Florida State. Heavily favored in the first 2 games of the season, the Seminoles are now 0-2 after disastrous showing against Georgia Tech and Boston College.

It’s fair to wonder if FSU can turn things around at any point as Paul Finebaum and others begin writing the obituary for the Seminoles. If Norvell’s team loses these kinds of games, when will they get a win at all is fair to question.

While it’s not going to give a positive feeling to any fans, Norvell did at least admit the bad start falls on his shoulders. He said the Seminoles are hurting but took the responsibility for not getting his team ready.

“It comes down to me and it comes down to me being able to prepare this team to go out there and play to the capabilities that I believe they have,” claimed Norvell. “You’ve got a football team that’s hurting… Nobody ever envisions being where we are, having failure but I do believe in what this team can do, I believe in what this team can accomplish.”

Norvell went on to say the Seminoles currently do not look like a team playing FSU football, something that the head coach also took responsibility for:

“That does not look like Florida State football, what we just do. And it’s all on me,” Norvell admitted.
