Mississippi State lands commitment from talented 2021 JUCO offensive lineman

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are preparing for their first season under new coach Mike Leach, and Leach is putting together his first full recruiting class for the 2021 cycle.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs landed a commitment from a talented 3-star 2021 offensive lineman out of East Mississippi Community College.

As you can see below, Nicholas Jones took to Twitter to announce he was flipping to Mississippi State from Southern Miss:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Jones is the No. 6 JUCO offensive tackle in the class of 2021 and the No. 19 overall JUCO prospect from the state of Mississippi.

The Bulldogs now have 17 players in their 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Jones’s commitment, the class ranked No. 34 in the nation and No. 10 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
