Jones is the 5th Missouri player to enter the portal since it opened on April 15. Non grad transfers can enter the portal from April 15-April 30 and will retain immediate eligibility for next season. However, players from the SEC are not permitted to transfer within the conference and play immediately next season, they would have to sit out a year.
Jones joins Marcus Scott as Tigers defensive backs to enter the portal since April 15.
