Mizzou is bringing out its home alternate gold jersey for Saturday’s opener against Southeast Missouri State, head coach Gary Pinkel announced Friday.

The Tigers most recently sported the gold on black look last season against Kentucky. The gold alternate’s debut came during the 2012 campaign.

Mizzou’s matte black helmet with an oversized secondary Tigers logo is the preferred helmet choice for this uniform, but they’ve elected to go with the standard oval logo lid for Saturday’s game.
