Mizzou lands commitment from 2027 OT out of Ohio

After checking out Mizzou campus and Eli Drinkwitz‘s football program, an offensive tackle out of Ohio has decided to be a Tiger.

Jack Marquard is the newest MU football commitment. He took to social media on Tuesday to announce his commitment to Drinkwitz and the Tigers.

Marquard’s commitment follows his recent official visit. He had also scheduled visit with Duke, Indiana and Wake Forest. Marquard’s XX scholarship offers also include Louisville, Pittsburgh and UNLV.

Out of Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward High School, Marquard is listed as measuring 6-5 and 275 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Marquard is rated 3-stars, the No. 54 recruit in the state of Ohio, No. 103 offensive tackle and No. 1,307 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

With Marquard on board, Mizzou now has 12 prospects verbally committed for the 2027 class. At this stage of the cycle, the class ranks No. 28 nationally on the Composite.
