Mizzou reaches into Texas, lands commitment from receiver Jalen Knox

Missouri got some good news on the recruiting trail Thursday as Texas native Jalen Knox has pledged to join the school’s 2018 recruiting class. Knox chose Mizzou over offers from Baylor, Boise State, Duke, Oregon State, Utah and Wisconsin among others.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound receiver prospect was an All-District 10-5A performer last season from Mansfield Timberview in Arlington. Knox gives Mizzou its second commit of the 2018 recruiting cycle, joining fellow three-star prospect, quarterback James Foster. 247Sports lists Knox as the No. 43 athlete in the nation and the No. 73 overall prospect from Texas.
