Mizzou and coach Eli Drinkwitz are looking at the transfer portal to try and bring in talent that will help the team compete for spot in the College Football Playoff next season. The Tigers have been adding depth to the secondary over the last week, as they previously signed former Michigan defensive back Elijah Dotson.

On Tuesday, they added even more talent in the secondary, as former Ole Miss starter Chris Graves will be playing at Missouri in 2026.

Graves played three seasons at Ole Miss, and saw his role increase in a big way in 2025. He started nine games for an Ole Miss team that made it to the CFP semifinals, and he finished with 33 tackles. For his career in Oxford, he finished with 61 tackles, 7 passes defended and two forced fumbles.

He was a 4-star prospect in the 2022 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and was the No. 125 player in the class. He signed with Miami out of high school, but transferred to Ole Miss in 2023.

The Tigers had one of the better defenses in college football last year, and the guys they have brought in should once again have the defense playing at a high level.
