Molly McGrath caught in cross-fire of Gatorade bath intended for Jeff Brohm
Molly McGrath was on the wrong end of a Gatorade bath intended for Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm on Saturday afternoon.
Louisville clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game with a win over Miami on the road. It’s the first ACC Championship Game berth for Louisville in program history.
McGrath, who was working sideline coverage for ABC in this contest, was set to interview Brohm when a group of Louisville players unloaded a bucket of Gatorade onto the head coach. McGrath was, unfortunately for her, well within the splash zone.
Here’s video of the moment:

Here’s an even better angle of the splash courtesy of Tyler Greever:
A special couple of moments for Jeff Brohm: He gets a Gatorade bath before doing a postgame interview with ESPN. Then, he embraces Beverlee Schnellenberger before being presented with The Schnellenberger Trophy that honors his former coach in Howard. pic.twitter.com/Rs9pR95ENP

Louisville’s win means the Cardinals will face Florida State for the ACC title on Dec. in Charlotte. Louisville is 10-1 and could still reach the College Football Playoff if it runs the table. At a minimum, the Cardinals will reach a New Year’s Six bowl game if it beats the Noles in a couple of weeks.
First, Louisville will face Kentucky in Week 13 to end the regular season.
