Mookie Cooper was the subject of a lot of hype entering the 2021 season.

But, the new Missouri receiver, who transferred from Ohio State, suffered an injury prior to Week 1 and got off to a slow start to the season.

It seems he’s back and healthy now, though. And, in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against South Carolina, he scored his first collegiate touchdown.

As you can see below, Cooper was absolutely wide open on this 60-yard bomb from QB Connor Bazelak:

Bazelak took a shot on the play, but credit to him for hanging tough and delivering a catchable ball to the speedy receiver.

From there, Cooper did the rest, scampering into the end zone to give the Tigers the lead. If he’s fully healthy, he’ll be a major asset for the Tigers down the stretch.
