Former Texas A&M was involved in a car accident on Monday and his injuries following were said to be minor. More information about that was made available when the Cleveland Browns released an official statement on Tuesday afternoon.
Based on this, Garrett didn’t suffer any broken bones in the accident and has cleared concussion protocol. He has, though, sustained a shoulder sprain, biceps strains and some lacerations in addition to some bumps and bruises.
His status for Sunday’s matchup between the Browns and the Atlanta Falcons will be evaluated by team doctors throughout the week, and no decision has been made at this time.

This doesn’t seem serious, so it’s reasonable to expect Garrett will be back to the football field sooner rather than later. To this point in the season, Garrett has accounted for 3 sacks, 4 tackles for loss and 5 QB hits.
