The nation’s No. 3 running back (according to ESPN) has cut his list of potential schools down to three, and two of those schools play in the SEC.
Devwah Whaley, a four-star running back from Beaumont, Texas, has narrowed his list of schools down to Georgia, Arkansas and Texas.
He had over 20 offers from FBS programs, including Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Missouri, Stanford, Oklahoma, TCU, Baylor and Notre Dame.
Whaley made an official visit to Georgia earlier this season. He plans to take visits to both Arkansas and Texas in the near future.
The 5-foot-11, 196-pound Whaley runs a 4.45-second 40-yard dash. He ran for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns last year as a junior, and averaged 7.2 yards per carry.
