Be honest, how many of you thought Alabama was about to win the National Championship Game on the play that it actually did?

It was second and 26 following Tua Tagovailoa’s ill-advised sack on the previous play and left the Crimson Tide in less than ideal field position with a kicker who had just shanked a relatively easy kick that would have won the title. Well, as they say, the rest is history and Tagovailoa made himself an Alabama legend throwing the game-winning 41-yard touchdown pass.

If you briefly stepped away from the action at that moment, don’t feel too bad, you weren’t the only one. Alabama’s best defender was also not paying attention during the game’s defining play.

During a recent appearance on Golic and Wingo, Minkah Fitzpatrick revealed he was in a porta potty during the play.

What a time to hit up the restroom.
