2019 NBA Draft: Complete list of every SEC player drafted

Dreams came true for many former college basketball players Thursday night in the NBA Draft.

All total, 12 former SEC players were drafted. Kentucky obviously highlighted the league with three players selected in the first round — PJ Washington, Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson. Tennessee also had three players drafted in Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield and Jordan Bone.

Eight SEC programs had at least one player picked, too.

Here’s the complete list of former SEC players who were drafted Thursday night:

  • No. 12 PJ Washington, Kentucky (Charlotte Hornets)
  • No. 13 Tyler Herro, Kentucky (Miami Heat)
  • No. 16 Chuma Okeke, Auburn (Orlando Magic)
  • No. 22 Grant Williams, Tennessee (Boston Celtics)
  • No. 29 Keldon Johnson, Kentucky (San Antonio Spurs)

Round 2

  • No. 31 Nicolas Claxton, Georgia (Brooklyn Nets)
  • No. 38 Daniel Gafford, Arkansas (Chicago Bulls)
  • No. 42 Admiral Schofield, Tennessee (Washington Wizards)
  • No. 49 Quinndary Weatherspoon, Mississippi State (San Antonio Spurs)
  • No. 51 Tremont Waters, LSU (Boston Celtics)
  • No. 57 Jordan Bone, Tennessee (Detroit Pistons)
