The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is always one of the most exciting portions of the sports calendar. There are 16 games on Thursday, 16 more on Friday, 8 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday.
This year, as usual, those games have featured plenty of the trademark March Madness, led by 15-seed Saint Peter’s advancing to the Sweet 16.
Now, the first weekend is winding down, but there are still 8 games left on Sunday’s schedule. Here’s the full slate of games for Sunday:
- No. 4 Illinois vs. No. 5 Houston — 12:10 p.m. ET on CBS
- No. 2 Villanova vs. No. 7 Ohio State — 2:40 p.m. ET on CBS
- No. 2 Duke vs. No. 7 Michigan State — 5:15 p.m. ET on CBS
- No. 3 Wisconsin vs. No. 11 Iowa State — 6:10 p.m. ET on TNT
- No. 3 Texas Tech vs. No. 11 Notre Dame — 7:10 p.m. ET on TBS
- No. 2 Auburn vs. No. 10 Miami — 7:45 p.m. ET on truTV
- No. 3 Purdue vs. No. 6 Texas — 8:40 p.m. ET on TNT
- No. 1 Arizona vs. No. 9 TCU — 9:40 p.m. ET on TBS
Auburn is 1 of 2 remaining SEC teams in the field. We’ll see if the Tigers can advance to the Sweet 16.
It should be a fun finish to a busy weekend of college hoops action. Enjoy it while it lasts, as there won’t be this many men’s hoops games on one day again until next season starts!
