NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein includes 12 SEC stars in his first 2021 Round 1 NFL Mock Draft

The 2021 NFL Draft will take place in April, so top prospects are running out of time to improve their draft stock.
On Thursday, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein put together his first Round 1 Mock Draft, and he had a dozen SEC stars going in the first 32 picks.
As you can see below, Zierlein has 6 Alabama players in Round 1, with Georgia also having multiple players selected:
- No. 3 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
- No. 4 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
- No. 5 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 7 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Detroit Lions
- No. 11 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — New York Giants
- No. 16 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 19 — Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss — Washington Football Team
- No. 25 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 26 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Cleveland Browns
- No. 28 — Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia — New Orleans Saints
- No. 29 — Landon Dickerson, OL, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
- No. 30 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — Buffalo Bills
