After 10 seasons in Arizona, Patrick Peterson is reportedly on the move.
The former LSU standout has reportedly signed a one-year deal worth $10 million with the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
A Jim Thorpe Award-winner and two-time All-American at LSU, Peterson made the Pro Bowl each of his first eight seasons with the Cardinals (2001-08). Peterson was named to the NFL’s 2010 All-Decade Team and has been recognized as a first-team All-Pro selection three times (2011, 2013, 2015).
In his career, Peterson has recorded 499 total tackles, 91 pass deflections, 28 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and 12 fumble recoveries.
He departs Arizona holding multiple team records for his punt returning skills (longest return – 99 yards; most punt return touchdowns in a season – 4; most punt return yards in a season: 699).
