Joe Burrow suited up and ready for practice as Bengals OTAs begin

Joe Burrow just took a big step closer in his comeback as the Bengals franchise signal-caller suited up and returned to the practice field for the first time since his season-ending injury last fall.

OTAs began on Tuesday in Cincinnati and the team’s quarterback was on the field when practice opened.

During his 10 games of action last fall, Burrow completed over 65 percent of his passes for 2,688 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. Tears to his ACL and MCL against Washington cost Burrow the rest of his rookie season.

Burrow has already publicly stated he plans to be in the lineup when the Bengals open the 2021 NFL season against Minnesota on Sept. 12.
