The Egg Bowl rivalry is alive and well in the NFL.

Case in point, New York coach Joe Judge paid the ultimate price a Mississippi State graduate can pay during his most recent press conference with the Giants as he was decked out in Ole Miss gear.

“Before I open it up for questions, I’ll explain this ridiculous outfit I’m wearing,” Judge said during the press conference. “This is the consequence of losing a rivalry bet with Evan Engram.”

Engram, now in his fourth season with the Giants, was a standout tight end for the Rebels from 2013 through 2016.

According to Judge, if Mississippi State had won the Egg Bowl, Engram was going to be forced to carry a cowbell all week long.

Of course, we all know that didn’t happen, as Ole Miss won the latest Egg Bowl 31-24.
