Alabama finds itself down 10-7 to Auburn on the road entering halftime and, as you could imagine, Nick Saban wasn’t exactly happy with his team’s performance entering halftime.

Here’s what Saban had to say to CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce as he walked into the locker room.

Q: How do you get off to a better start in the 2nd half?

“We stopped ourselves the first couple times we had the ball with the penalty and fourth and short,” Saban said. “The big difference in the game to me is third down. We aren’t getting off the field on third down on defense, we aren’t converting third downs on offense, so we aren’t keeping the ball to extend drives.”

Q: How do you make things more difficult for Jarrett Stidham?

“We are getting pressure on him,” Saban answered, “he’s had to scramble a couple of times, we got good pressure on him, but we are not doing a good job of covering them.”
