Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher recently had a war of words publicly. Saban accused Texas A&M of buying every player in its historic 2022 class.
Then, Fisher went scorched earth on Saban, calling him a narcissist and implying there was shady behavior in Saban’s past.
Obviously, that feud is a big storyline heading into SEC spring meetings in Destin, Florida, this week. Meeting with the media on Tuesday morning, Saban said he didn’t accuse any schools of doing anything wrong, but added that he shouldn’t have mentioned specific programs during his comments:
Nick Saban on saying Texas A&M "bought" its recruiting class: "I didn't say anybody did anything wrong, and I've said everything I wanted to say about this. I should have never mentioned any individual institutions."

He then reiterated that he doesn’t have a problem with Fisher:
Saban: “I didn’t say anybody did anything wrong. I have no problem with Jimbo.”

Will Fisher agree that the past is the past? Or, is the Texas A&M coach still simmering after Saban’s comments a couple of weeks ago?
We’ll see what tone Fisher strikes when he steps to the mic in the days to come.
