Alabama is almost unanimously the No. 1 team in the country ahead of the College Football Playoff, but Nick Saban isn’t buying it.
The Tide’s head coach hates the “rat poison;” so, he took matters into his own hands Sunday.
In the final Coaches Poll, Saban voted Clemson, not Alabama, No. 1. The Tide and Tigers may be on a collision course in the College Football Playoff championship game.
Oddly, Saban argued that Georgia deserved to be one of the nation’s top four teams Saturday night, but he didn’t vote the Bulldogs in the top four in his poll. Oklahoma received that No. 4 ranking, followed by No. 5 Georgia. Saban’s rankings mirrored the final College Football Playoff Rankings.
