Offensive lineman Kendall Randolph suffered a sprained ankle in a Saturday scrimmage, and that was a known setback.
A previously unknown injury on the Alabama roster was revealed when Saban said defensive back DeMarcco Hellams also suffered a sprained ankle this week in practice and will be out in a day-to-day capacity. A junior from Washington D.C., Hellams totaled 62 tackles, a sack, and 3 passes defended last season.
