Nick Saban was focused on improving in the second half as Alabama took a 35-14 lead on Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
In his halftime interview with Jenny Dell of CBS Sports, Saban said the game is far from over.
“We’ve got to keep playing,” Saban said. “We’re not playing great on defense. They’re hurting us with some perimeter plays and quarterback runs so no scoreboard, man. We’ve got to play for 60 minutes everybody knows that. We get the ball to start the second half, got to make sure we do something with it. We’re doing too many stupid penalties.”
QB Bryce Young led Alabama with a 13-for-20 passing performance and 3 touchdowns.
Alabama benefitted from 2 Auburn turnovers, including one inside of 3 minutes remaining that helped the Tide tack on another score late in the first half.
