Nick Saban didn’t seem to be happy with his team during his weekly radio show on Thursday night.
The top-ranked Crimson Tide has been preparing for its annual “Third Saturday in October” battle with Tennessee, and apparently Saban has had to put in a little extra effort to fire the team up.
It could be implied that perhaps Alabama didn’t have its best week of practice. However, Saban said, that has been straightened out.
Will Alabama be sluggish on Saturday? And would Tennessee have a chance even if it was?
Here is a series of tweets from Saban’s radio show on his frustration with practice this week:
Nick Saban: “Every now and then it’s good to create tension. I created tension today to get them going.”
Oh boy.

Saban: “You listen to all the noise out there about how good you are. It’s a challenge. But I don’t believe in tired.”

Nick Saban seems perturbed early on during his radio show. Raising his voice often. Is now re-launching into “how top-10 teams get beat”

Saban: “You don’t know the challenge it is to keep these guys on edge so we can have the right mindset to play how we want to play.”

Nick Saban asked if this has been a good week. “I’d rather not comment on it. We got them straightened out today, though.”
