Apparently, Danny Kanell has finally seen the light.

After years of unwarranted bashing of the SEC and its teams, the ESPNU Radio personality is jumping on the Alabama bandwagon with both feet. Despite recently being spotted at the National Championship Game supporting UCF’s “championship season” during the festivities in Atlanta, Kanell made a pretty bold claim Wednesday.

Not only does Kanell see Alabama repeating next season, he thinks the Tide could go for three in a row in 2019. He claimed two things entered his mind after watching the Tide claim another title.

“Saban is the best coach of our time and he’s going to win the next two,” Kanell said. “This is the first time he’ll have a quarterback that is much, much more than a game manager — like he had in Greg McElroy and AJ McCarron or a dual-threat guy that’s limited in passing like Blake Sims or Jalen Hurts.”
