The Coaches Poll may have now lost some of its luster with the final College Football Playoff rankings having been revealed, but it is still certainly worth looking into how the sports’ leaders have evaluated the regular season.
And to further the narrative of controversy surrounding the inclusion of Miami and Alabama over Notre Dame, the final Coaches Poll of the season has the Fighting Irish placed above both the Crimson Tide and Hurricanes.
Alabama dropped to No. 11, prompting Notre Dame and Miami to move up to No. 9 and No. 10 respectively.

Of course, the final CFP rankings placed the Crimson Tide at No. 9, the Hurricanes at No. 10 and the Fighting Irish at No. 11, essentially flipping what the coaches chose.
In a hypothetical world, these rankings would see Alabama ousted from the bracket, with Miami and Notre Dame both qualifying for the field.
