O’Cyrus Torrence’s journey from under-the-radar lineman recruit out of Louisiana to NFL Draft pick is complete. The former Florida Gator is off the board at No. 59 overall to the Buffalo Bills.
Expect plenty of UF recruits to hear about Billy Napier’s staff identifying and developing Torrence. As a high school prospect out of St. Helena Central in Louisiana, Torrence was a 3-star recruit, ranked No. 1,617 overall on the 247Sports Composite. Napier’s Louisiana program was 1 of 7 teams to extend a scholarship offer to Torrence.
In 4 seasons at Louisiana and Florida, Torrence never allowed a sack. Torrence was a freshman starter at Louisiana in 2019. He was named All-Sun Belt in 2020 (second team) and 2021 (first team). Torrence then followed Napier to Florida.
