Oklahoma has put itself in great position to make the College Football Playoff in 2025, winning at Alabama and fighting off Mizzou at home on Saturday to get to 9-2.

Now in Week 14 comes the final regular-season challenge for 8th-ranked Oklahoma, which stays home this Saturday to face struggling LSU in a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC. The Sooners need to win this last game against the Tigers to get to double-digit wins and give the CFP selection committee a reason to reward them come the first Sunday in December.

To do that, they’ll have to handle their business led by that stingy defense that has brutalized opponents lately. According to Sunday’s opening betting line for the SEC showdown in Norman, Oklahoma is getting big-time love as it goes into this crucial matchup. The Sooners have been installed as a 9-point favorite over the 7-4 Tigers, who barely got past Western Kentucky at home on Saturday night and are in the midst of trying to find their next head coach.

The opening total for the game has been set at 38.5 points.

Here is the opening betting line for the LSU-Oklahoma game and the rest of the Week 14 slate:

Oklahoma will be trying to win its 4th straight game to end the regular season, a streak that started with a victory at Tennessee that got the Sooners rolling after they lost at home to Ole Miss and their Playoff chances were on life support.

Now, they have a chance to help cement those Playoff chances with a victory over LSU at home this Saturday.
