Oklahoma entered the season with high hopes under coach Brent Venables, and so far, the Sooners have delivered in a 3-0 start.

Heading into Week 4, the Sooners will welcome in former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold and the Auburn Tigers in the SEC opener for both programs.

After getting a big home win against Michigan in Week 2, there was an opportunity for there to be a letdown against Temple in Week 3. However, the Sooners went to Philadelphia and took care of business, knocking off the Owls 42-3.

Like the Sooners, the Tigers are off to a good start, as they are 3-0 with the former Sooner leading the way. Revenge games are becoming more popular in college football these days, but Circa still has the Sooners as a 6-point favorite over Arnold and the Tigers.

Both Venables and Auburn coach Hugh Freeze entered the season with a lot of pressure as both teams were under .500 last year.

The Sooners have changed their offense this season, as they brought in quarterback John Mateer to help run the show. Through three games, he has been fantastic.

Mateer has thrown for 944 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for another 161 yards and four more touchdowns. The Sooners are much more dynamic this season, and Matter has been the biggest reason why.

Arnold had an up-and-down career at Oklahoma, and was in need of a fresh start. In Auburn’s opener against Baylor, he showcased his legs by rushing for 137 yards and two touchdowns. He has done a good job of leading the team, but he is going to need to make some more plays down the field against the Sooners.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon in Norman.
