Oklahoma State president issues statement after star RB Chuba Hubbard threatens boycott

On Monday, star Oklahoma State RB Chuba Hubbard took offense to a picture of coach Mike Gundy wearing a t-shirt with the logo for “One America News” — a conservative news site.
Hubbard said he wouldn’t have anything to do with Oklahoma State until change was made, and many of his teammates supported his stance.
On Monday evening, Oklahoma State president Burns Hargis issued a statement on Twitter. He said insensitive behavior wouldn’t be tolerated at Oklahoma State:
I hear and respect the concerns expressed by our Black student-athletes. This is a time for unity of purpose to confront racial inequities and injustice. We will not tolerate insensitive behavior by anyone at Oklahoma State.

What that means remains to be seen, as no action has been taken either way at the moment.
