One of the nation’s most explosive returning players is taking a stand for something he believes in.

After seeing the viral image of Mike Gundy wearing an OAN shirt — which stands for “One America News Network” for those unfamiliar, Chuba Hubbard reacted harshly to the image.

“I will not stand for this.. This is completely insensitive to everything going on in society, and it’s unacceptable. I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE,” Hubbard tweeted on Monday.

Interestingly, Hubbard’s comments come after he passed on the opportunity to declare early for the 2020 NFL Draft. During his redshirt sophomore season, Hubbard rushed for 2,094 yards and 21 touchdowns for Oklahoma State.

Against Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl, Hubbard rushed for 158 yards on just 19 carries.

It will be interesting to see how Gundy responds to Hubbard’s comments as Oklahoma State went 8-5 last season despite the ridiculous numbers the running back posted in 2019.

Amen Ogbongbemiga, Hubbard’s Oklahoma State teammate, issued a similar reaction on Monday, “I stand with him!” in reference to Hubbard’s comment.
