Ole Miss adds to 2024 recruiting class with commitment from in-state lineman

Ole Miss has a new commitment in its 2024 recruiting class. A lineman from Houston (Mississippi) is staying in the state to play for Lane Kiffin’s program.
William Echoles is the newest pledge for the Rebels. Echoles took to Twitter on Saturday to share the big news.

Echoles is listed as measuring over 6-2 and 295 pounds. Rated as an interior offensive lineman by 247Sports, Echoles can play on either side of the ball and was recruited by Ole Miss defensive line coach Randall Joyner. A 3-star prospect, Echoles is the No. 19 Mississippi recruit and No. 708 prospect overall nationally in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite.
During his recruitment, Echoles collected scholarship offers from 18 schools, including Auburn and Mississippi State. Ole Miss now has 17 commitments for 2024 with Echoles on board.
