Ole Miss has made a ton of additions via the transfer portal this offseason, earning Lane Kiffin the nickname of “Portal King.”
On Monday, the Rebels added one more piece to their defense from the portal, coming to Oxford via another SEC school.
As you can see below, former Vanderbilt safety Dashaun Jerkins announced via Twitter that he was committing to Ole Miss for the 2022 campaign:

The past 3 seasons at Vanderbilt, Jerkins has played in 30 games, recording 144 total tackles, 3 interceptions, 7 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.
What sort of role will he carve out for himself with the Rebels this fall? We’ll see how he looks when camp opens in a couple of months.
