Ole Miss leads all SEC programs in final AP top 25 of the 2025 season

Ole Miss put together a special 2025 season, overcoming Lane Kiffin‘s departure by making it all the way to the CFP semifinals.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss became a star, as he put together an incredible 3-game run in helping the Rebels have the best season in the school’s history.

With the season over, the final AP poll was released on Tuesday morning, and the Rebels came in as the highest ranked SEC team in the country at No. 3.

The team that Ole Miss beat in the CFP was the second highest ranked team in the SEC, as the Georgia Bulldogs came in at No. 6. Texas A&M made it to the CFP for the first time in the history of the program before losing to Miami in the first round. The Aggies ended the season ranked No. 8, while Alabama is the final team from the SEC ranked in the top 10, as the Crimson Tide finished No. 9 after losing in the Rose Bowl to Indiana.
