Bentley is in the sixth college football season. He began his career at SMU in 2019. Ahead of the 2022 season, Bentley transferred to Ole Miss.
Last season, Bentley made 6 appearances, recording 16 carries for 73 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has already eclipsed last year’s yardage total with 14 carries for 88 yards and 1 score in 3 games of the 2023 campaign.
Bentley’s most productive season came in 2020. In 10 games, he rushed 170 times for 913 yards and 11 TDs while catching 21 passes for 174 yards and a score.
Lane Kiffin’s squad faces No. 13 Alabama in Week 4. We’ll see if Bentley can build off his best game with the Rebels.
