During the game, veteran students, alumni, and faculty are set to be honored. On the field, the team will wear special helmets with a patriotic theme. As for the Ole Miss logo at the middle of the Hollingsworth Field playing surface at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, it will be painted in the colors of the American flag.
The “Pride of the South” marching band at halftime will also feature a performance in honor of the armed forces.
Ole Miss and Auburn are set to kick off at noon ET, with the game to be shown on ESPN.
