One of the fastest players in the 2018 NFL Draft class is former LSU DB Donte Jackson, who also ran track for the Tigers.

He’s receiving some borderline first-round projections, so having a big performance at this month’s NFL Scouting Combine could push him firmly into day one.

NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah reached out to anonymous NFL scouts and executives to figure out which five players would receive the most buzz in Indianapolis, and one person interviewed thinks Jackson will be the most talked-about player:

“The nickel corner from LSU is FAST!!! His testing numbers will be off the charts.”

Indeed, Jackson’s 40-yard dash time and other speed drills will be something to watch, as he could turn in the best numbers of anyone.

He’ll need to perform well in other areas, too, if he wants to work his way into the first round, but he has the skill set necessary to catch some eyes.
