Photo: Another year, another embarrassing crowd for the Miami Hurricanes
Former Georgia coach Mark Richt’s first season in Miami has taken quite the nosedive.
After starting the year 4-0 and climbing to No. 10 in the AP Top 25, the Hurricanes have gone on a four-game skid that has apparently made fans quit on the season. Case in point: the meager crowd Hard Rock Stadium well after kickoff against ACC foe Pittsburgh today.

Despite its recent struggles, Miami is actually beating the Panthers 34-21 midway through the third quarter. But Richt — who begged fans to show up for Homecoming today — is probably quite concerned about the turnout.
