It’s safety first in Gainesville these days as the defending back-to-back East champions want to practice some caution while jetting around the Florida campus on scooters.
The university is hosting a scooter safety seminar on campus this week, which includes a scooter driving course. The campus also has made room for a parking lot designed specifically for the scooters. In addition to training and available parking space, several members of the school are getting Gator scooter helmets.
The official Florida football twitter account tweeted out these photos recently, showing off scooter helmets clearly inspired by the Gator football helmets.
