The Power Rank is back with another round of SEC projections as we inch closer to the end of the regular season in the Southeastern Conference.

If you are unfamiliar with the Power Rank, it’s the creation of Stanford Ph.D. graduate and analytics expert Ed Feng. Feng uses his system to predict outcomes in professional and college sports.

The Power Rank does not project games against FCS opponents, yet it accurately predicts winners over 73 percent of the time.

The system went 4-1 predicting SEC games during Week 11.

Here is how The Power Rank predicts the Week 12 action to play out in the SEC:

  • Florida will beat LSU at home by 5.4 points. The Tigers have a 34 percent chance of winning this matchup.
  • Georgia will beat Missouri on the road by 10.5 points. The Tigers have a 22 percent chance of winning this matchup.
  • Auburn will beat Mississippi State on the road by 10.1 points. The Bulldogs have a 23 percent chance of winning this matchup.
  • Alabama will beat Arkansas on the road by 32.1 points. The Razorbacks have a two percent chance of winning this matchup.
  • Tennessee will beat Vanderbilt on the road by 12.7 points. The Commodores have an 18 percent chance of winning this matchup.

If you missed it, the Ole Miss-Texas A&M game has been postponed by the SEC. The Power Rank predicted the Aggies to win that matchup by 8.4 points.
